Our 5 Power Stations and Geelong Contact Centre supported over 85 local schools and community groups with community grants, sponsorships and small donations in 2022. Each year, our Mt Piper power station sponsors the Portland Art Show and employees vote for the 5 artworks which the business will purchase and display around site. Our Yallourn Power Station sponsors the Friendship Games soccer tournament hosted by Baringa School, which brings together students with disabilities from a number of schools around Victoria. This is the only event that all of the Latrobe Valley power generators join together to support. In addition, our Yallourn and Geelong Contact Centre participate in end of year giving appeals, supporting the Gippsland Motorcyclists Toy Run and the Geelong-based Elf Squad with the purchase and wrapping of thousands of toys distributed to families in need in the local areas. This year we were proud to sponsor Noel Pearson – In Conversation with Gippsland. EnergyAustralia has a strong commitment to reconciliation and supports the Uluru Statement.
