Each year in Australia, around 1,815 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In most cases, the cancer is detected too late, at an advanced stage where treatment options are limited. That’s why awareness is critical—early detection saves lives. 💙
Unlike other cancers, there is no early detection test for ovarian cancer. That means regular screenings like Pap smears do not detect it. Instead, knowing the symptoms—such as persistent bloating, abdominal pain, and changes in appetite—can help women seek medical advice sooner.
