Chooseday 5th March- Choose To Empower Women!

Good Morning,

Happy Chooseday!

As we approach International Women's Day on March 8th, it's essential to reflect on the progress we've made in advancing gender equality while acknowledging the challenges that still lie ahead.

This year's theme, "Break the Bias," calls for action to dismantle stereotypes, challenge gender norms, and promote inclusivity. 🚀♀️

Why International Women's Day Matters:

International Women's Day is an annual global celebration on March 8th of women's achievements and a reminder of the ongoing fight for gender equality.

While we've made significant strides, there's still work to be done.

Did you know that over 500 million girls worldwide experience period poverty? In Malawi alone, the cost of sanitary pads equals the annual cost of school fees, leading to school absenteeism and other challenges.

This issue highlights the intersectionality of gender, education, and health and underscores the importance of supporting initiatives like The Cova Project. 💼

The Impact of the Cova Project:

The Cova Project is dedicated to providing menstrual cups and menstrual health education to girls and women in developing communities worldwide.

By bridging the school attendance gap caused by period poverty, we empower girls to stay in school, boost their confidence, and learn about their bodies. 🩺

With over 25,000 girls already provided with sustainable menstrual health solutions, we're making a tangible difference in their lives and communities. 🌍

How You Can Help:

This International Women's Day, join us in combating period poverty and empowering women and girls globally. You can support The Cova Project on platforms like Good Company, where every donation helps provide essential menstrual health resources and education.

Together, let's change the world by ensuring access, education, and dignity for all women and girls. 💖

  • Give $25 and support The Cova Project's Monthly Trainings and Educators

  • Give $75 and provide 10 menstrual cups to guarantee a girl a lifetime of access to safe sanitary products.

  • Give $150 and provide 20 menstrual cups to a peer support group of women and girls.

As we celebrate International Women's Day, let's renew our commitment to gender equality and stand in solidarity with women everywhere.

Together, we can break the bias, challenge stereotypes, and create a more inclusive and equitable world for future generations. 💪♀️

Thank you for being a part of this important journey.
